You've got to wonder how such a mentality becomes so pervasive amongst all concerned to where this received a green light.

The avalanche of free publicity this previously unknown retailer is getting online is counterproductive to the larger goal we should all have of discouraging someone from ever doing this again.

IMO, it would be better to discuss this foolishness as little as possible than it would be to get everyone here worked up into a lather over it.

FWIW, someone's making money every time we watch that YouTube video, so keep that in mind, too.

Don't need to see it....heard enough about it on the radio today. They won't be seeing us in their place! The lack of class is beyond belief.

The acting is horrible! The screams from that lady when the two guys were falling on the stack of collapsing mattresses bordered on parody to overacting.

The manager of the store that developed that ad was supposed to do a radio interview with Sean Rima on KSAT yexsterday. Big surprise, it was a no show. How did that ad proposal make it through more than one round of decision making without someone determining that it was a terrible idea?

I agree the ad is disgusting but so are the death threats. Only a really mentally challenged person would get angry enough over a stupid tv ad to make death threats.

They probably will come out ahead due to the publicity, although somebody may lose their job. But how desperate would you have to be to actually buy a mattress from those creeps?

I'm not sure this ad ever aired on TV. At least I never saw it. I was under the impression it was an online-only ad. Nevertheless, it has since been pulled.

I doubt anyone would be loosing their job. Best I can tell, this is a local mom-and-pop business, and the owner apparently approved the ad, based on what was quoted by local news sources.
