Our daughter will be moving to San Antonio in the future and we are looking for a first apartment in a safe area. I've been looking online and getting a little overwhelmed. We have been looking at the Northwest/West areas.
We'd like a safe, clean area since she will be living alone for the first time. Price wise we'd like to keep it under $1,000 but are realistic we may need to consider a higher rent. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

strongly recommend to narrow down more precisely where the job is - SA traffic can be bad. And use an apartment locator - they are free. Lots of safe areas in SA

$1000 will get you plenty here. Not luxury. It she'll be fine. I agree with the other poster, though. We need more details.

Provide the area so we can narrow our suggestions.
And I second the apartment locator.
Lots of safe areas and good apartments in SA.

Apologies, she will be working at the Paul Mitchell school near the Ingram Mall area.

Probably westover hills would be the best bet. Traffic will be hellish but she will be close but not too close. Too close it gets shady. Try zip code 78251 for your search.

I lived for 2 years at Westover Oaks Apartments. Excellent management, smaller complex, never had any issues.
