Its a used car lot now, the one on Callaghan and 410 I think was torn down.

My one problem with Whataburger is that the burgers are never "hot enough". It's like everything is sitting open faced and five minutes later someone puts it together. That's why I have to take them home and heat them in the microwave first.

I agree with you about not hot enough but there is a first. On the way home after a late night at work, I drove thru the WB in Grapevine and ordered a #2. The damn thing was HOT. After the first bite I held the sandwich up and stream was rising off the patties, this will probably never happen again.

We used to go to Electric light and sound all the time. Sit on those carpet covered risers and cubes. It was still Mama's when we left SA in '89. And the bottle rocket wars MAN! After a night of throwing those things around we were going to my buds house off West Ave and I tossed one into an on coming car. Their drivers window was down and the rocket went into the car and blew up on the rear deck. Funny thing, the guy kept driving. I thought for sure we were toast.

So, is the Buttercrust bread factory still around somewhere? I know they are no longer located on Broadway, but I was wondering if they still gave tours at some other location.

Also there was an all-ages club out near the Northside Stadium that I used to go to after the games - I can't remember its name though.

Why do I think it was called the 'teen canteen'? Great place.
