I passed by that Taco Taco on Hilderbrand the other day, and was trying to remember the name of the eatery when it first opened up. It is driving me crazy trying to remember the name.

I believe it originally was a Toddle House....something like a Waffle House.

It was probably both. Steak and Egg bought Toddle House out. Waffle House was a break-away compay from the original Toddle House.

In fact, I was just there last month giving Jeff a bunch of my money. If you want a real blast from the past you must stop in. It has not changed at all in about 40 years. It along with Kings in Austin are the last true model shops left in Texas.
