I read a story some time ago about the daughter of the owners of Solo Serve they lived in Olmos Park I think on Contour Drive. Spoke of all the socializing her mother did. Might have been a tragic ending , I've forgotten now. If I had a memory I'd be dangerous!

The old Sears downtown was about 6 blocks from solo serve.
