Default "The Bird House" House

Another one to add to GBNF in SA

San Antonio Current - Columns

This is a house on storywood (near west avenue)....We always go by it on my way to my grandmothers. It has always been there....sad to see it go. I think it is much more interesting than the toliet seat house in Alamo Heights and deserved much more attention.

I-10 Wurzbach Vance Jackson area, in Colonies North.

Now in Shavano Park. Not too far away.

TCS-did you ever go to the Turtle Creek Country Club when it was open? My dad was in an office in a Datapoint building right off the fairway there. I remember going to work with him as a kid and people complaining about the golf balls hitting cars in the parking lot. We ate at the country club one time, and I can just vaguely remember it. I remember there was kind of circular ramp that ran around the edge of the dinning room from the main entrance, but that's about it.

I no longer live in SA but I get back once or twice a year. I grew up in the Cresthaven neighborhood (north of Basse and just east of West Ave), not too far from where this house is. Anyway, I drive by this house whenever I'm in town just for fun. What's happening to this place?
