There was one on Huebner Rd. It wasn't good at all in my opinion.

I miss those as well. It was cool to raise that little flag they had on the tables.

Big Boy restaurants. In Michigan they were owned by the Elias Bros. Mmmmmmmmmm. I sure miss the Slim Jim sandwiches, and the Swiss Miss sandwiches. Not to mention the Big Boy hamburger. Similiar to a Big Mac or Jim's Frontier burger but better than both!

Go to Shoneys on Walzem and 35. They have the Slim Jim. We tried their breakfast buffet one day and the food was OK but it was so crowded it was hard to enjoy.

I agree. We just had Portillos last week in Phoenix. Italian beef sandwiches were awesome!

I really don't remember Waffle House in SA but I am aware they were here at one time. I went to one a few months ago in Kentucky and let me just say we don't really have the clientele here in San Antonio to support one here. That is the nicest way I can put it.

Food was great though, probably because we don't have many options for waffles. I love me some waffles.
