Hi folks! I'd like to buy a nice Mountain Laurel as a gift for my father's 60th birthday. Does anyone have any recommendations for local tree farms/nurseries with great prices and selection?

Thanks!

Check out Milberger's Nursery, on Bulverde and 1604. They have lots of sizes in now.

I bought mine from Lowes or Home Depot, can't remember which one. They're hardy enough that it doesn't really matter where they come from and what condition they're in, plus they're native. I don't think you can kill them without seriously trying..

Default Greens and Blooms

The lady at Greens and Blooms (Borgfeld Rd, west of 281) said she'd have a bunch sometime this month.

We bought a little one (1 gallon container) last year at Home Depot or Lowe's, and planted it out front. It's about 3 feet tall now. It isn't going to bloom this year, but hopefully next year!
