Heart O Texas BBQ in Stone Oak bit the dust. Lights are off and the sign has already been taken down. No notice on the door.

Default Sonic at Zarzamora closed

Anyone know what happened to this establishment? I drove by the other night and it was closed, I think that it was all boarded up.

I don't know, but there were posts in the Restaurant Opening & Closing thread stating that a couple of Sonic Locations on the North Side closed recently.

my guess? lack of business.. can only keep it open so long before you close it... from what I see... Sonic is not very busy to begin with in a lot of areas.. thus the demise of another business.. Evidently you didn't eat enough sonic-burgers at their establishment!

Maybe they were fearful of the impact on the local fast food market when 25 new Del Taco locations are added to it?

My guess is corporate is shedding some low performing stores. The Sonic on Babcock/Prue closed recently as well (I think that was in another thread).
