Hopefully you see that Captain Bens faster than the one they've been building at Potranco and 151 for the last 6 months. So far, they have the building up but nothing inside. The building has been up for 3 months. The groceries are pretty good though. It'll give Laguna Madre some competition over here.....if they ever open.

Wonder if Noodles & Co. will ever make an appearance in SA. Love that place for a quick lunch.

Yes. It was a location of Noodles and Company. It was never very crowded when we went there for dinner. But IIRC, it closed before the shopping center was fully redeveloped.

The place at Park North was called Oodles. Don't know if they were a part of Noodles & Co though. I ate there once, it was somewhat forgettable. It was a Smashburger after that, but that didn't make it either. That particular suite hasn't had good luck. The Lion and Rose and Jim's on either side do ok though.

Native NY - except for the Beef on Weck from Western NY - I don't see anything that is particularly original to the state. There are NY items but this menu is fairly generic to the American palette.

We don't usually go gaga over chain eateries, but having had Noodles & Co on a recent trip, would REALLY like to see them make an SA appearance.

I'd like to see more local noodle houses open.

Not a fan of chains either. Let's encourage by locals for locals

Taps y Tapas open in the five points neighborhood (the old Quincy's deli location). Good selection of bite-sized modern Mexican (not Spanish) cuisine and a great tap list to boot. Lunch/dinner, closed on Tuesdays.
