Mama Fu’s Asian House has signed a development agreement to build 11 new stores in San Antonio and West Texas. The one in austin is pretty good. Sort of like Pei Wei, but I think its a little better.

Anyway, BACK on topic...

The old Bennigan's at Cinema Ridge (behind the theater across from Ingram Park Mall and next to Texas Roadhouse), is becoming a new Saltgrass Steakhouse.

HEY now! This is San Antonio...let's get back on subject and talk about FOOD! Get with the program people. If ya don't like it, move to a city in California and discuss food in the Vegan/Veg forum.

Feast is opening in the old Oloroso space. I went to a soft opening last night and they have improved the space & food. The concept leans toward sophisticated comfort food w/ numerous small/shared plate options and a few mains. Their small list of house cocktails really delivers (try the gin with cilantro and chilis). The wine list was well thought out and very well priced. One of the better soft opening I have been to in years. The kitchen did a great job.

I was just going thru the posts to see if anyone had mentioned feast. What kinds of dishes did they serve? We were thinking of checking it out this weekend.

Not much to be found on urbanspoon...
