The Mexican restaurant on Blanco Rd. near Deerfield that has been "close for remodeling" for 2 months has a new sign up today that says it will be remodeling into something called El Bucanero. I guess it must be closer to being done with remodeling now that it has a name.

It figures. I dont remember what it was called but that Mexican place was pretty bad and the teens they had as the wait staff were also pretty bad. It lasted about a month.

That is a pretty good location. It would be nice to get something in there that would be good.

There is a sign at Artisan's Alley for a new Mexican Seafood restaurant. Can't find any info about it on their website...

I think that location is cursed. Nothing in that building seems to stick around.

Oh yeah...I forgot about Hungry Farmer. The several subsequent establishments never got off the ground, however.

Just went to the new Perry's Steakhouse at La Cantera. Pricey, but I would highly recommend it.
