It was basically a place for parents to let their kids run wild while they talked to their friends. Loud, felt dirty, overpriced, and had to park back by those apts. which seemed like a mile away. Hope this new one is better, but I aint holding my breath.
That's surprising about Rudy's. When we leave the base and go over there for lunch sometimes, it is packed. Every time that I have went there, they have a really good crowd, especially in the summer. I think they get a lot of business during Sea World's peak season.

I could be wrong but I think TBI meant he would be at Rudy's and it would be a ghost town at Chunky's, which is right next door....I think that's what he meant, anyway. I too have never seen Rudy's a ghost town!

Rudys at 151 is CONSTANTLY packed...never parking available, always have to use the side road...I a SURE he was talking about Chunkys. We ate there twice, service lacking, really painfully slow both times...no shock it did not make it there.

I went to the new Cheesecake Factory in La Cantera last night-- it was just as good as the other location (I had the Chicken Madeira and Strawberry Cheesecake).

Tiago Splitter was also there, which made for an entertaining time.

Ate there last week for a birthday get together. The food was okay, I guess, but I'm older so it was too loud and forget about finding parking (unless you use the valet service). Perhaps just due to the time of the year at the mall. It was quite dark in there and I also don't like the menu, too many choices. While I liked the server (even though she wasn't Penny from Big Bang Theory) I noticed that she annoyed several of my dinner guests. Not sure why, though. She was very nice.
