I don't think it will have an issue in that location, BUT I think it would have done a lot better in the pearl area.

Looks like another sports bar opening up at the old Firewater grill at Canyon Golf and Overlook Pky.

Drove by yesterday there is is a banner for hanging out the front door. Looks like its going to be called Vortex

Minnie's (aka the "old" Liberty Bar) is done...sorta surprised after all the work Weisssman put into upgrading that old tilted building. Would be a shame to see that site end up just another parking lot.

The Pearl developer made him an offer too good to turn down. They're going to renovate the building.

More than renovate. The new owner's going to pick up the building and move it onto the brewery property.

So was "On the Border" (now P F Chang's) sent packing from the Quarry. TexMex out of the can does not work. Chuy's is unremarkable.
