AZ Ventures LLC is a growing restaurant company based in San Antonio. We're opening our first Wangchao, an upscale Chinese cuisine restaurant, in late 2014 at the Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio. Wangchao will serve excellent Chinese fusion in an inviting, upscale dining environment designed with the guest in mind.

Hmmm, interesting that this will be the first Wangchao. Hope it is good and is worthy of success.

Wow! Looks like another SA celebrity chef has lost the golden touch....the Fairmount Tre was a re-boot from Dady's original concept at that location. Umai-mi cut back to 5 evenings/week as well.

Had lunch there today. Very good. Bakery stuff looked amazing. Husband and I each had a sandwich, drink, and cookie. Plus I had a very small bag of potatoe chips. It was all very good but I felt that $24.00 was a little high. I'll be interested to see what others say.
The cake servings were $4.69 and were huge. People were having to take half of it home. Overall, a nice addition to Stone Oak.

No idea where but SA is getting a Gino's East soon. Dallas, Austin, and The Woodlands will also get a location. Their pizza is pretty good if you like Chicago style, but the vibe there is great and it's hard to replicate that, in my opinion.

Mine, too.

A friend of mine and I went to Chicago and were referred to Lou Malnati's but it was late and was going to be an hour wait, so we went to Gino's and waited just a few minutes instead. Fun, bustling place, great service, great food.....hoping Dallas gets in on that vibe, too. Their salad dressing was quite memorable!
