Quizno's......<shudder> - not gonna miss 'em. Ate at 'em twice, and the 2nd time convinced me it really WAS that bad the first time.

We like Quiznos but I think the franchisee here cuts corners. I don't think as a company they stay on top of the franchised units like they should. But that's based off the one that we used to eat at near Culebra and 1604 and I don't even know if that one is still open. Way too many better sandwich shops in town to settle for an iffy one.

I-10 and callagahan is still open and never had any problems eating there. I don't go that often though.

There is a Pappadeauxs going up at the corner of 1604 and 10!!!!!!! About 5 minutes from my house. Can't wait!

So, I was just going to describe my favorite appetizer of all time which they serve at Pappadeaux, but I am looking online and it doesn't appear on the menu any more. Could be seasonal. It's a spring roll with lobster, crab, and lousiana sausage with this dipping sauce. The whole experience is a culinary orgasm. I will be upset if the next time I go, I cannot get it.
