I too was disappointed with Shake Shack's food. They got nothing on Burger Boy.

The single shack burger is $5.39 which is a tasty but small burger. Want double?...(I didn't get double) That will be $8.19 for just a slightly larger burger from my observations of other customer's double burgers.

So in my case, I got the single shack burger ($5.39), fries($2.99), and large lemonade($3.60)...

I decided to add bacon ($1.55 extra) which I had forgotten to mention earlier.

My total came out to $13.53 plus tax which equals to around $14.64. Do that for a family of four...you are already near $60 without shakes.

Milkshakes are around $5.30 each I think...I don't remember...I am not a milkshake drinker.

Everything is separate and they obviously make their money on dessert. Id go back when the hype dies down to try the chicken sandwich everyone raves about. Im still bummed they closed Mooyas.. oh and btw, we didnt order everything off the menu before u assume we did. 2 burgers, 2 hot dogs, 1 cheese fry, 2 regular fries, and 3 sodas (i had water) and for dessert, 4 shakes(they only have one size). To me, not worth 63 bucks.

OMG re-read his post. 2 burgers, 2 dogs, 3 fries one of which was cheese fries, 3 sodas and 4 milkshakes. That was $63 so about $40 without the shakes. 10 bucks a person with 2 sharing fries is not that expensive but maybe you should stick with the McValue menu!

I am just sharing what it costs for me as a single person to eat there getting a "combo" and multiplied that by 4. I don't have a hubby to pay for my expenses nor do I have kids to be sharing my fries with.

If you read earlier, I am sticking with Culvers but thank you for the McValue suggestion.

I too went to Shake Shack last week and for the price I paid, It wasn't worth it. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with a side order of fries and all that came out to $10.78...I didn't even get a drink or a milkshake! Plus the chicken sandwich was pretty small and the whole meal all together wasn't filling. Don't get me wrong though, the spicy chicken sandwich and fries were pretty good. In conclusion, for the price I paid for my small meal and by looking at the prices for the other items like their burgers, milkshakes, desserts, etc., I don't think I'll be going back there. Culvers is the place to go for double patty burgers that you can get along with fries and a drink for about 8 bucks. More bang for you buck!

This only leaves two i believe and probably a matter of time before those close up. Didnt in and out buy the land where the one off 410 sits?? Thought i read that couple of yrs back.

Yes, they did.

Almost 4 years ago, a real estate acquisition unit with ties to In-N-Out purchased the TGI Friday's at 410 & McCullough, leading to rampant reports that it was soon to be the site of San Antonio's first In-N-Out location. But Friday's response was that they were locked into a lease at that location, and had no plans to close. As of a couple of days ago at least, The Friday's signage was still in place, and there were cars in the parking lot.

I guess we'll just have to watch and see what happens now.

Was at Torchys tacos last night and asked worker when they will ever expand and he told me they will make a second location at The Rim. Was hoping more for a NE side/forum location but maybe down the line.
