Not really a restaurant but heard that Steel City Pops closed down in San Antonio. Other Texas locations remain open however.

Seems to be typical that San Antonio suffers from the first round of closures of any restaurant business that opens locations in Texas.

I always say this too. Not sure if it’s our demographics or what.

Not sure where they were located in Texas, but they only locations in Dallas left in Texas.

If I remember correctly, San Antonio was first to lose all locations followed by Austin and Houston. Dallas is the last remaining city with store(s).

Who would possibly be a customer for this stuff? Same for the flavored two week old popcorn places we have here in San Antonio.

Those kind of places are for people who have lots of time, little to do, and have lots of money.

The rest of the customer base may be people looking for some gift idea for the office, birthday party or the after-theater date night crowd.

Most of us are satisfied with a tub of ice cream from HEB or Wal-Mart.

Anyone know what they’re building in the old TGI’s off 151? They’ve been working on it and today I noticed a coming soon sign on it but couldn’t quite make it out.
