Baskin Robbins...of course, I'm biased, I own one

But if I HAD to choose a runner-up, most definately "Justin's on Main," I actually even sneak a bite in here and there when I dine at Capparrelli's (which is next door, and has terriffic Italian food btw). Third would be "Brendels" (I THINK that's the correct spelling?) on Huebner.

googie,

I remember as a kid (many moons ago), Baskin Robins used to give us a free ice cream cone during the month of our birthday. As for flavors, I REALLY miss English Toffee ice cream!!! I can't remember how many years (30?) since I have tasted that flavor. Will it EVER come back to Baskin Robins???

Ah yes, English Toffee, we get many requests for that flavor on a weekly basis, it's actually a "regional" flavor, meaning that in some markets it's a permanent flavor, in others it rotates. Unfortunately it's only a seasonal rotating flavor in San Antonio, soooooo, it'll be back...when I can't say for sure - but as soon as it pops up on my order forms I'll let you guys know.

Oh yeah, we still have the Birthday Club, just sign up online, and a few days before your birthday, you'll get an e-mail certificate good for one free ice cream. It's for ALL ages btw. Here's a link:

Oh yeah, Justin's is right next door to Capparelli's, which is located at 2524 N Main Ave. It's in Monte Vista (which I assume you're familiar with), less than a block away from the old La Fonda if that helps. I can't believe I'm giving directions to a competitor!
