you'd think everything would realize that almost every store in this area does VERY well. The Freddy's on Potranco near 151 broke all records when it opened and it always seems at least a little busy the few times I have drove by since. Now if Wendy's could just get the hint and they need to hurry with the KFC/Taco Bell. I also can't wait for Shipley's and would really love a Shoney's down here. It's just too long of a drive to get to the lone SA location way up there near Walzem.

My DD would love a Wendy's here. Whenever we see one around town she makes a point to point it out, because they are few and far between here (at least in comparison to Whataburger and Sonic!).

Just like every where else the "Newness" will wear off. Remember when the Krispy Kreme opened at IH 10 and DeZavala. Now look at it.

That was a staple of all KK openings. That wasn't unique at all at the time. The far west side is another story as it's buying power is pretty big and restaurants are constantly doing above average.

Good Afternoon-

Do any of you live in either Spring Vistas or Sierra Springs? (I think these are the names of the two subdivisions along Potranco on the other side of the HEB Plus) We almost bought there 9 plus years ago.

This is why I ask. This afternoon while coming back home (The Villages of Westcreek) I paid close attention to your fences along Potranco. I may be wrong but are these the original fences? Whatever the age is they look great and well cared for.

Here in Westcreek we are supposed to be in the Fence Replacement / Staining Process and it appears that this will be a long journey.

Anyway to those of you that have the common fences (backing up to and along Potranco / Military/ and other through streets) do you share in the Maintenance / Replacement Cost or does the HOA take care of everything?.

Thank you for your comments.

Speaking of eateries I drove by Kennedy's Chicago Style Pizza today at 11:40am and then again at approx. 12:30pm. He had about four cars in the parking lot. I don't know if it was because of the Holiday Weekend or if business has slowed.
He is a super nice guy and opening this place up was his dream. I hope it works out for him.

Maybe offering "specials" on those slow times would help draw the crowds in....

You have to realize the amount of pizza you get for the price, though. I could probably eat most of a large Little Caesars and feel about as full as one or two slices of a small Kennedy's. I would feel much more satisfied with the Kennedy's, though.
