Well I'm going to possibly have them cleaned and buffed, and then drilled. Or share them with my friends first. Or sell them for a profit. So many possibilities...(and jokes!)

We saw a coffee table made out of bowling balls and a big piece of glass one time. The bowling balls were the legs. It was actually pretty cool!

you could use them as tailgating deterrents... or for those gravel trucks that have the not responsible for damaged windshields signs

Just drove by a really bad rollover accident on Potranco, just outside of Bella Vista. One car on it's back, tons of emergency personnel in the grass tending to someone. Please be careful out there!

Potranco Road is quickly becoming a very dangerous road. I saw a nasty rear-end wreck yesterday at Potranco and Empresario. Then the wreck tonight. I see people passing on the right (shoulder) on the west-bound side at the entrance to Amherst. Crazy thing to do since people leaving Amherst cannot see you. There seem to be wrecks all the time near the meat market across from the Backyard.

Yup. I don't mind people passing me legally, but when they're going 50+ and then try to zip around you on the shoulder, that gets dangerous! It won't ever end, they do it all over town.

Any news on the Potranco widening that was pushed through?

I think the problem is the drivers that go 35-45 down Potranco for some reason. The minimum speed limit outside 1604 is 55, but you rarely find anyone going even close to that. To me driving WAY below the speed limit for no reason is one of the biggest dangers on the road.
and what is wrong with going around the right side of people making a left turn with no left turn lane? Does everyone sit there and wait forever? Screw that. and nobody can pull out in front of you because the left turns out of that neighborhood don't have the right of way for anything.

I don't see anything wrong with it - I think common sense plays a big role in the maneuver. If the shoulder is 1/2 a car wide with 5-6 inches of drop off the asphalt, then I don't think you should pass at 50+...maybe slow down a bit? I mean, they're your tires!

What gets me are the folks that are turning across traffic and have to wait, but when waiting don't make room for the cars to pass on the right - I mean, you KNOW there are a ton of cars on Potranco, why not pull to the side a little more so you're not the reason 30 cars can't get home!

disclaimer: When I say "you" I don't mean rd! Just "you" in general! "You" know who "you" are! :P

Not nearly as amazing as seeing a rollover on an inner-city street where the speed limit is 30 mph. Just talented drivers I guess (and stupid).
