Thanks for the feedback on the Westover Hills Family Dental. I'm due for a cleaning and hope they accept my MetLife Insurance. I'd like to go there and try it.

Get there a little early so you can play some video games!

We went for our last check up and some dental work when they were in the middle of their renovation - they were very accommodating and you almost didn't even notice the work going on!

Anyone else bothered by the Semis that park in the area in front of the Walmart? I have had several cars almost hit me head on because they are wanting to avoid the trucks not seeing me exit the Walmart parking lot. The RVs don't bother me because they stay on the inside of the parking lot. It's the semis that park on the outside down the way of people trying to unload their puppies. It's worse on that road that runs behind the Autozone and Walgreens. The bad part about that section is that the Steven's HS Students use that as a short cut when walking to and from school.

EDIT: Is there something that can be done to have them moved? I don't recall a sidewalk on that road.

Call the Bexar Co Sheriff and ask - explain the situation to them and see if they can send someone out. If they start getting tickets, they'll stop parking there! I've almost been hit on that little road too, but mostly because people fly around the turns and turn wide out into the turn lane...

Hi guys...just wanted to report:
Hubby and I ate at Stockyards last night. It was...decent. The problem I had was first of all...our waitress was a vegetarian. So, it was difficult to get an idea of what was good. She couldn't rec. anything on the menu to us. Then, I ordered my steak Medium and it came out medium rare. My thing is...if you are a steak place, you better know how to cook a steak right! I asked for a certain steak sauce and she brought me Worchestershire sauce. It was not a good experience for me. My hubby loved it though and said it was pretty decent food. He said he would go back. I'm still not SO crazy about it that I would rush back. Anyway, just thought I'd share my opinion! I would give it time to work out the first opening quirks then try it.

A vegetarian waitress in a steak house? Wow, that's rich! Is the bartender a Baptist preacher? Thanks for the review, though!! We are steak lovers, so we will make it out there soon.

I just saw the sign for the Padlock storage units coming soon to the entrance of Westcreek (Military). Is it possible to sue companies for destroying the value of your property? I hate those things and that is the one thing that could've been worse than those nasty apartments... we need some better lawyers in this neighborhood or something. This would never happen in Stone Oak..

and thanks for the review mojokitty. A steak sounds really good.. except I just went to Olive garden

Texas Roadhouse has really good steaks. I've eaten there about 14 times with only 1 issue about steak preparation. And it shows just how bad the steaks at the Little Red Barn are.

We almost went there last night! We were on the other side of town though and decided to go to P.F. Changs instead. Wow! Our services was awesome and the food was really good, we ordered way too much and now our refrigerator smells like garlic shrimp. I like their little shot glass desserts, that was just enough sweet at the end of the meal.

Thanks for the review on the Stockyards, we will be trying it soon.
