I would love a B of A, but chances are it would be a different one, so I'll settle for Jack in the Box. Plus JitB has the added advantage of being open 24/7/365. So next time you get a hankering for some greasy tacos at 2:30 AM on Christmas Day, you're there

To be honest, I've never eaten at JITB! Is it good? I guess it's due time I check it out and see if I like it! I enjoyed What a Burger and had never eaten there before I moved to Tx...so we'll see!

I personally think some of their food is good. Their tacos are disgusting to look at and even worse when you realize they fry the entire thing, but they're pretty tasty. I mostly like their hamburgers, though.
I remember we once got this thing called the colossus or something like that in San Diego (that's where their HQ is) and it was like an instant heat attack. I think it was three 1/4 burger patties, 8 slices of cheese, a buttload of bacon and gobs of mayo. Just looking at it was enough to make you hurl, but I tried a couple bites. It wasn't as bad as it sounds, but there was no way I (or almost any human) could eat the entire thing. Luckily we got them with some promotional coupons.

The Ultimate Cheeseburger was pretty good..of course that too is an instant heart attack..I wonder if that was similar to what you're describing rd2007? I'd never try to eat one today but 20 years ago after leaving a bar at 2am and you've got the munchies...it was heaven!!

I think that was the little sister to the one I was describing. The Ultimate was a regular on the menu, but the Colossus was a special edition. Here's the alleged stats for it: Jack In The Box: Calories in The Colossus Burger (http://www.usaelectionpolls.com/calories/fast-food/jack-in-the-box/Calories-in-The-Colossus-Burger.html - broken link) but I'm pretty sure it was at least double that..

I agree, it will be odd to see something like that over there. I have always wished we would get a gas station over by Talley, not so much now. Any idea when the Walmart on Potranco will open the gas pumps?
The pumps are open at WalMart, got lucky and bought gas there when it was 1.31 a gallon. Today it was up to 1.54.

it went up to $1.54? they're being retarded and greedy. Go almost anywhere else and it's cheaper plus it's probably better quality. I wouldn't be surprised if walmart gas was from china too

yeah, I'm sure they've been itching to jack up the prices too. The actual NYMEX price hasn't made a dramatic price increase and is currently around $48/barrel, so this is all greed. stupid gas stations.

Sonic is going in at the southwest corner of Grosenbacher and Potranco.
