Even if they got rid of every single fast food joint on the planet, people would still eat unhealthy things.
No one is forcing you (or anyone else) to eat at these places, get over yourself.

I could be wrong but based on the short life Krystal(a chain with burgers of the same style) had here, I doubt White Castle would dare to attempt to open locations here or anywhere in Texas. Krystal failed not only in San Antonio but Houston as well.

I'm curious as to what you eat. I mean this sincerely, as we all know a constant diet of fast food is not good for anyone. However, when I need something quick, a burger is about the only item I can eat and safely drive with. I'd prefer a salad or fruit cup, but time just doesn't permit. Do you always eat a "sit down" meal?

Getting rid of all those places isn't going to fix your overeating problem.

See, I can make crap up about you too...

In all honesty, I prepare a lot of my own food. I also always bring some things along for those instances where "time doesn't permit". Try bringing along a protein bar (protein will also help keep you fuller for a longer period of time), some almonds or walnuts and a piece of fruit. I also make my own dried fruit and jerky once a month, as they store easily.
When I need to drive, I bring along a bottle of water. Quest is one of the "cleanest" protein bars out there now, offering high quality whey protein and very few other ingredients. They taste great and are available at HEB and Academy now too.
Yes, I'm sometimes crunched for time as we all are, and I have a family as well, but I try to make good decisions when it comes to mine and my family's health. If you want some help...feel free to PM me. Good luck.

I thought I saw a bulldozer over there a few weeks back, but haven't paid much attention. Will try to look on my way home tonight.
