Hope they don't move anyone from the Potranco BK to this location.
Is that because they're so slow at Potranco? I've noticed that too. I mean, sit-down restaurant slow. But to their credit, once they do deliver the food it's been hot and well prepared.

Carls Jr. works for me too. A Dunkin Donuts wouldn't hurt either.

I 3rd the Carl's Jr. idea. Wonder why there are no Steak n' Shakes in this part of Texas? Don't know if anyone in this forum is from the Houston area, but I heard from someone who works for Lupe Tortilla that they are going to build a resturant here in San Antonio, probably gonna be somewhere far though. Another Jason's Deli, or Panera Bread over on this side of town I think would be awesome! Not that I don't enjoy all the fatty food, but gotta keep in some sort of health. Oh, another thing, why on earth deosn't San Antonio have more hole in the wall BBQ joints? You can find em all over the State in big or small towns but not many here, and as far as im concerned San Antonio is more Texas than the other major cities. I know there is Rudy's, and Bill Miller's, but I mean real good mom and pop BBQ. Shortage of good Steak Houses too unless you feel like driving far away.

No, the BK on Potranco is the ONLY BK I've been to that the whopper did not taste flame broiled.

I live within a couple miles of Rudy's, fortunately, and we actually ate there last night. The wet brisket is like high calorie crack and I wish I knew what they put in their cream of corn.
I'd like a couple of cheap taquerias here, like the ones surrounding Lackland. Those have some of the best food in San Antonio and they're dirty cheap. Especially the super cheap breakfast taco's during the week days.

I also vote for Wendy's. I think the closest one is the one on Grissom and we've had really poor experiences there.

December 8th. Or at least that's what my daughter claimed the sign said when we drove by today.

I wonder if they will have any freebies like the one at Ingram did when they first opened up. I know they did something along the lines of free chic fil-a for a year or something to that nature to the 1st 50 people i believe. something like that . That would be nice!
