Hey! Those nail salons are exclusive to Potranco! All of us Westplexers need our nails done often! I guess if you hang around those nail salons too much you'll get a hang-nail!

Latnocowboy...nice touch with future Disney site! Keep the Dream Alive!?

Hi,
I will be transferring from DFW to SA in the spring and working at Capital Group. Reading all the info about the exploding growth in the west areas of SA is making me nervous. I was 'thinking' about looking for homes along Talley Road north of Potranco, but it sounds like this area is going to be a huge traffic jam up and down Talley within the next 4-5 years. Thoughts?

Next 4-5 years??? I drive in that way most days and there are already issues...HOWEVER there are alternative drives...and Talley to Wiseman is a nice one.

Hope this helps!

Paka,

Yes, very helpful! I didn't see Wiseman connecting to Talley on the satellite images I've been looking at on Google lately. If I can stay off the beaten path and take backroads I would much rather do that!

Two other downsides about Talley Road.
1. Many areas of the road subject to flooding during heavy rain.
2. Speed Limit is 40MPH and cops do patrol that road occasionally.

Both Mapquest and MSN Live have Wiseman Blvd showing and Live actually has fairly recent (within the year) aerial images that show the road built. Though don't become too enamored with the undeveloped land it cut through, much of that will soon be the massive Westpointe master planned community.
