The two movies I want to see most are NOT anywhere to be found....

One is 'older' and I can't even find it on video, and it never did play anywhere around here....

"Reservation Road" - (was released sometime back in October I believe)

and the other was released on 12/7/07, but I can't find it anywhere around here::::::

"Grace is Gone"...

waaaaahhhhhhhh

One that is due to be released that I REALLY want to see:

The Bucket List....

Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, how can you go wrong??? In theaters 12/25/2007

ETA::: I couldn't even find Reservation Road on video around here....

The Bucket List looks like it would be a great movie. I mean, how can you go wrong with Jack and Morgan? I read a horrible review of it, though! It was written up in either the SA Current or SA210, I can't remember which--and the critic (maybe just a local guy) really said it was awful. I still want to see it, though.

We decided to wait for Alvin till it's on pay per view. The reviews were bad for it, and we are just too busy to go anyway. We have movies here that we haven't even taken time to watch, and my husband even has a new toy for movie-watching--his new projector and 100" screen, and surround sound. We did finally watch Live Free or Die Hard a couple weekends ago. But he's itching to put Pirates on the projector, even though we have already seen it in Imax. So many movies, so little time.......

We saw "I Am Legend" and "Bee Movie" this weekend. Wow, I forgot how expensive it is to go to the theater. Legend was pretty good. The kids really enjoyed Bee movie.

According to Amazon and Rotten Tomatoes' sites, Reservation Road isn't out on DVD yet - Rotten Tomatoes said sometime in late January. So maybe you'll be able to catch it then.
