Heh! And living in the southwest my entire life has obviously jaded me! I crave the cold, wet, snowy, damp, mucky for at least......2 or 3 days a year!

What is everyone making for Christmas dinner? Christmas Eve's menu will be steak, Uncle Chris' green beans, salad, and ciabatta bread.

Christmas Day will be a traditional ham, sweet potatoes, rolls, and whatever other carbs necessary to make everyone happy.

Anyone have any unusual menus planned?

We always do Spanikopita (sp?) for Christmas Eve. None of us are Greek (other than my sister-in-law's husband and his family), but we love it nonetheless! Another thing for the Eve is huge shrimp. We end up having this incredibly eclectic buffet. Nothing matches or goes together, but we do love it!

I always liked pizza or lasagna for Christmas, but I'm the only one that does...

and I'm from Michigan and I love snow. I hate this weather we're having right now.

Breakfast is the normal Christmas Strata...dinner is Prime Rib with horseradish, Guyere mashed potatoes and green beans with almonds....not to mention all various dessert type of goodies...yummmmmm, yummmmm!

Nap in between is MANDATORY vs optional!
