OK...Geekspeak recommence! We have a powerbook and with the D-Link it could not get a signal regardless of settings. When I put the Linksys into service, it purrs right along. So yes, mac and pc do coexist happily in the house. We just have more pc software.

The girls had chicken sandwiches from Jack in the Box and I will be having some delightful tacos from said establishment. *ducks* I was going to make some jambalaya...and may still...its actually a lot better when it sits overnight and warmed up the next day. OMG...I just made my own mouth water! LOL

that mac vs router thing sounds more like one was on the wrong channel to me.. routers normally could care less what language the network is speaking, but all network cards and routers care which channel they're on.. there should be a total of 11 and most usually run on 6 or 11, which means it's a good thing to run on a different channel just to be safe.

and I had BLT's with plenty of T now that HEB has saved me from my withdrawals.. I'm also dying from all the T's because my stomach can't handle T's, but I love them

Oh it could be user error...we could get a signal if we were right on top of the router, but move to another room and nothing.

Too funny about the abundance of T's...its one of those love and feeling too much love by your stomach.

something is definitely wrong if it won't make it to the next room. I can get about 5-7 routers from my living room and those are in different houses..
