Does anyone remember a Monday special for the java chillers at Sonic? I just went to one and it was $2.49. I wasn't happy at all, but the guy that was driving wouldn't ask them why it wasn't on special.

gotta love Road Runner turbo. I just downloaded JSE 8.1 (100 Mb file) from the Sun site in under 80 seconds.

I haven't tested my d/l lately. But then, I don't need high download speeds...

I was downloading the same file yesterday and it was going by the byte.. I think the Sun site had an issue and 80 seconds is a bit of an improvement over the 28+ hours it was saying it would take yesterday.
Now I just need to figure this Java crap out. I'm doing a tutorial on UML modeling and of course it doesn't match what is actually located on Java Studio Enterprise screen.. even though it says the tutorial is for 8.0 or 8.1 and I'm running 8.1. this class is definitely going to suck

For 100 MB?!? That does suck.

I've been very happy with RR, been a customer for years. Even when we tried Dish, I kept our RR connection. Now we have the trifecta...

I used to go to the political section, but it's too annoying. Too many people from both extremes and most of them are clueless..

and it wasn't Road Runners fault, it was the Sun site. My connection is usually VERY fast, but last night and today is even faster than normal. Unfortunately the upload to my Office Live space isn't as fast. It's a great tool though, especially when trying to get around network defenses... plus I can store a huge amount of pictures of my dogs on it

Im sure al of you have seen the beating of that poor girl in Fl.

I cant not believe what kids are doing right now. They were only 3 years younger than I. I have no idea what this world is coming to. A girl knocked unconscious and beat all to post a video.

Don't watch if your sensitive.

Kids are definitely crazy and I think they get quite a bit of it from their teachers.. Most of it comes from the current state of insanity of life in general, but a lot of these crazy teachers can't be helping things. i just read one about a teacher near Dallas that took one of her 17 year old students to get a tattoo.. It's like these people don't even think any more.

Agreed. Not to mention my prof pushing there political agenda. OMG i payed for chemistry not how many ways to criticize a president. Parents are a lot to blame but to a certain point. I mean I use to get in trouble when a foul word slipped or my room was dirty. The parents are defending the way there kids acted in case makes sense why they did it. You her one of the girls saying dont hit the shelf. WT

Sorry there are to many random thoughts in my post.
