Not focusing, just admiring. I like her position on oil in Alaska, I like the fact that she is willing to take on big govt and make neccessary changes. she is a quick study and she is energizing the party. Good for her.

yes, definitely no shortage of stupid pretty much everywhere you look.

so did anyone else get the $10 Office Max gift card in the mail yesterday? You have to use it at one of three stores (AR, Bandera Point, and somewhere else I can't remember), but it's $10 off a minimum $10 purchase. I actually made almost $400 from my mailbox yesterday

LOL....are you serious? Ad typo? So did you make 40 trips to Office Max? I don't live in any of those shopping areas including the one you don't remember!

it wasn't an ad, it was an actual card and it was mailed to my by name. I don't know how they got that because I haven't shopped one of those stores in years. Last time I went in was on a Sunday for a few years ago. I wanted to get one of those great Sunday deals and they were "out" even though I went in when the store opened. It was some young punk with that annoying smirk on his face, so I asked for the manager and it was him. That was the Bandera Point store.

No need to bash Obama supporters when it's one of your own making the statement.
As I said originally, not really into the whole political debate, and I guess if I wasn't aware of PGR's voting record, it is pretty clear of that I'm not spending a whole lot of time here worrying about it.

I would only point out that, based on the fact that Obama is going against McCain, and McCain's VP choice Palin has more executive experience than Obama, I'd suggest that the "inexperience" issue is still on the table, if the McCain team so choose it to be.

I'd prefer to focus on specific policy issues which, frankly is why you won't see me engaged in the ploitical forums on CDF. I'd like to know specifically what Mr. McCain or Mr. Obama intend to do, and how they will do it, not focus on how Mr. Bush is Hitler or how his VP is beholden to Haliburton. I submit that anyone who selects a president based on thier feelings of a person/team not even running, is not focused on the real policy issues.

If you (or anyone) would care to list specific policy that either Obama or McCain is running on and either say you are for or against, I'll consider joining the debate. Ambiguous claims of inexperience or Hitler or "8 more years" simply doesn't interest me.

so did I see you? It took forever to spend the $10. First I got this organizer thing and a ream of paper, but found out the paper was 2/$6, but actually over $6 if you only bought one.. Then I didn't spend enough, so we ended up staying about an hour there and spent 31 cents.
Then I went to BB and got a Flip. Not a bad deal with the $10 gift card for spending over $100 and a $5 reward zone certificate. That ended up pretty much $110 and it's normally $150
