Anyone know of any good sites for reviews or ratings of assisted living or senior care centers?

I can't help you with a site but I wanted to mention I was at Sterling House a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was a nice place.

We accidentally checked out that 55+ community in AR and it was nice. I don't know if they offer those types of services, but you would think they would have something like that since nobody there even resembles a spring chicken.

I had no idea they even had such a thing.

yeah, it was really nice and VERY quiet. Somehow we didn't notice all of the giant pictures of exclusively old people while we drove up to it. The kids at the front desk were pretty snooty for some reason and greeted us with "you know this is a 55+ community don't you?", so that's why they got the "duh, obviously we don't". I wanted to smack them.
I think the builder is Dell Webb or something like that.

Well, at least they didn't say "Come on in Gramps, we have the perfect place for you!"

You gotta find a way to look at the bright side! There is a positive to every negative.

But I'd have smacked the little bisshes.

Yes, we were happy that there was no doubt in their minds that we were not of age. They were little punks, though, and I wonder why older people would want to be greeted by someone that was maybe 18-20. I'm pretty sure most people would go somewhere like that to get away from people like that. I know I would.

Ah, actually I was looking for a review site, so I can look up places near Jacksonville or Sherwood, AR. For my mom.
