Awwww, you should have said so. We usually bake the new members cookies. Now that you've had pie, though, it's not gonna happen. We eat too much around here, so you need to start watching your caloric intake--there are too many restaurants here that you'll hear about and just hafta try!

Oatmeal it is! I LOVE oatmeal cookies! I also have a recipe for a cookie called a pecan sandie, but i don't know if it's the same as what Keebler makes.

Thanks sapphire! Yes I do need to watch what I am inhaling. I remember seeing a thread on restaurants around town...if it's still around maybe I'll go post some of my favorites.

Linda, you are too kind. I'll have to think of a way to repay you! Although about the only thing I'm any good at is art. I DO make a mean french toast though!

Central Market has great cookies.

Le Cake or The Cake Shop have good cookies. Broadway Daily Bread has great oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Nadler's has good cookies.

Alton Brown made some awesome cookies on his show once...I think I made different cookies everyday for a month because of it...
