Catholics/Episcopals/Presbys/Baptists etc pointing fingers at 'cults.' LOL.

Darlings, they're all cults, designed to skirt US tax laws and make as much money as possible on the backs of their flock.

While we're dissecting absolute hypocrisy, some of them also have rather spotty histories regarding vows of celibacy, abuse of children, bigotry, etc.

... And don't even get me started on the mormons and scientologists.

Love posts like this one. It isn't enough for you to have the freedom to have a faith of your choice, or to not believe, but you have to criticize all people of faith. Live and let live.

The last time they came by I told them I'm disfellowshipped, which is true. They marked my address off their address cards. They haven't been back.

I have been tempted to show up to the door nude and see what they do( btw, I am in pretty good shape for my age). LOL However, our door is visible from the street so I have not done it. LOL I have known some very nice people that were JW but I just say I am not interested. I do the same with LDS.

They'd probably just think you went to a lot of unnecessary trouble to get undressed just for them.

Researchers at the University of Chicago are exploring a possible connection between LDS and LSD.

Default Religiosity and the Jehovah Witness,

Once on the gallows, it is said that everyone becomes a convert. I believe this old witticism. There is more than a kernel of truth in it.

Default For a Minute,

I thought you were mentioning after all this time- the old LDS organization of the sixties. In those days LDS and LSD did have a connection. Somebody call the University of Chicago.
That was thinking on a whole different plane of thought, man.

Ah, yes. It was THE Latter Days Saints you were writing of.

This thread incredibly stupid.

Do not answer the door ever. If you have pets that lack self control train them or realize your short temper is not one that should own pets.

We do not have to demean or be rude.

The mods have let this circus go on a lot longer than most.
