We go to Dr. R. Geralde on Sonterra but he is actually opening an office off 151 and wiseman in September. We are very happy that we won't have to drive 20 miles to the dr.
Not sure if you are able to wait that long?

Well, keep him in mind if you need to switch doctors at some point. There is another lady coming out of Corpus that will be in that office (I don't know her) but Dr. G will be taking patients also.

Good luck in your search.

We use Dr Vincent Gonzaba, he is at the Gonzaba Med Clinic at the corner of Ingram and Culebra. They are WONDERFUL, very fast, always able to get in the same day, they have weekend "emergency" hours and we have been thrilled with the service we have received from them!!!

It is not super fancy, but it is close, responsive and he is an Internal Med Specialist. About 4-5 docs, a NP and a PA or two working there. Know the NP from WHMC, excellent provider now retired from the AF and working there!

Thanks for this! I just checked my HMO, and he's an approved provider. We are currently using a doctor near Tezel/Guilbeau and I'm not satisfied with the treatment we get there. I have to call and see if they will treat 11 year olds--he always seems to be the reason for our weekend "emergencies." His pedi is in the Stone Oak area and with gas quickly approaching $4 a gallon, we need to seriously think about making a change.

I have acutally referred several folks to them and they are thrilled with their service as well. The do have Family Practice, but we decided to go with the Internal Med Specialist as our ASSIGNED provider since as we age you tend to need to eventually transfer over to one. I like the fact that if the need is there with issues growning older, he and I are not trying to get acquainted but have a working relationship already.

Our family doctor is Dr. Natalie Cuellar. She's at 1604/Shaenfield (Shaenfeld?), so it's a little further up 1604 but as long as you're not going during rush hours it's fine. We absolutely LOVE her and her staff! Send me a dm if you'd like her contact info.
