Hey all...I have an issue and would like your opinion. I am in the middle of digging out the area in front of my house. I'm planting some Sago Palms and some Silver Torch Cactus there. Anyway, I'm looking to put some nice Medina River Rock in there after the planting. I went over to Fertile Gardens and picked out the rock that I want to put there. One problem, how to get the stuff home and put in the garden? We don't drive a truck...and I can't fathom the thought of shoveling 1400 lbs of rock anymore.
Any of you know of any young guys with a truck that want to make a little extra cash? Or suggest where I can look?
Back in CA..we would just rent a small truck and then go grab some illegals from the corner (I know..I know....contributing to the problem).

I don't think they'll deliver only 1/2 yard. Will Keller deliver that little amount?

I have had them deliver topsoil...I would think that they would deliver rocks too. Did you ask them? Opps! Just saw that amt you need delivered...have you tried the rock place off of 36th St off of 90 going into the flightline area of Kelly??? They have rocks there too, and I think they deliver as well.

I don't think they have river rock. I thought it was mostly flagstone and stuff to make patios and such (not sure though). The name is Dryden Stone if you would like to call them. 438-4445

I'm gonna make a few calls tomorrow. Even if I have to pay some sort of minimum. No biggie.
