Renting is getting less expensive for people living in the largest US metropolitan areas.

In September, rents declined on an annual basis in more than half of the nation's 35 largest markets, the first time in six years, according to data from Zillow. Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington saw the biggest drops at 2.7% and 2.2% respectively.

to be honest that is only related to a market. San Antonio rent rates will probably go up higher as the demand for housing here grows larger. So don't expect to see a reduction in rent any time soon.

Here in San Antonio they want 1000+ for utter slums and dumps that are 40+ years old and crumbling. Astounding how they have the gall to ask for that.

What slums do you speak of? The slums near Medical Dr still have one bedroom apartments for $700+ a month.
