I researched this thoroughly. Every single source I found that corroborated this was a right leaning publication.

I found several French publications, including videos of people being interviewed in the no go zones that disputed it.

Sorry, but I'm going to believe the locals over some people who have an agenda against Muslims.

I think it’s kind of a mixed bag. Certainly some “no go neighborhoods” get that label as a result of racial discrimination/bigotry. Sometimes that’s obvious from the source. On the other hand it’s more difficult to discount the same information received from locals. For instance when I lived in Northern Virginia my minority friends and co-workers were pretty clear there were parts of Washington, DC that were dangerous enough that even they wouldn’t go into those areas. Kind of hard to totally ignore or discount that kind of feedback.

I have distant cousins in France AND Germany. It's FAR worse than what the mainstream media reports - and there are areas where law enforcement won't enter unless in force.

Do such areas exist in San Antonio?
I don't even know where to begin.

Your question is ridiculous. Do you seriously think that if this was happening in any city within the U.S. under the current political climate that it would not be daily fodder on the news. Even if you don't believe the 'MSM', Fox News or Breitbart would be running it 24/7 since it would validate several of the current Conservative talking points.

Glad you pointed this out. The whole point of sanctuary cities is to make sure that residents are willing to cooperate with law enforcement. If they're worried about a family member being deported, they're not going to talk to the police.

Most Middle-Eastern and Indian folks live and work in the Medical Center and USAA areas. Scary parts of town! If you're really worried, I highly recommend you avoid the UTSA Costco on Saturday or Sunday.

That's all fine and good - but that's a red herring - the primary issue is that of apathy and of "not talking to the man". If someone's been a victim of a crime, I'm fine with focusing on the crime and not their immigrant status - but if they're otherwise involved with an LEO (like, being arrested for a crime), then their immigration status SHOULD matter.

Indians and Muslims are not the same.
