What do you know about Woodside Homes (aka Flair Homes?)

They're not the same. Woodside is a large builder that moved into town a few years ago. They bought out Japhet homes. I've not sold a Flair home, but I don't think they're in the same ballpark as far as quality. I've sold a few Woodsides and my clients have been very happy so far.

Default Flair Homes

I bought a Flair Home in 1998. It was, hands down, the most terribly built home I have ever lived in-so bad that everyone commented on it. Sagging floors, an upstairs commode that almost came through the floor, "bumpy" ceilings, paper-thin carpet, a leaking front window.... I could go on, and on, and on. DO NOT BUY A FLAIR HOME. Trust me.

Default Flair Homes - out of business

Hi,

I just ran a little search on this company and they canceled their license in 2005. Their phone is disconnected and the Better Business Bureau notes that they don't have a report on the business because it seems to be defunct.

Further investigation seems to reveal that they sold the company to Woodside Homes in San Antonio but there is an office in El Paso , TX.

I hope this helps.

Alma

We've owned our ten year old Flair home for five years, and we love it! Very energy efficient, and we've been very pleased with the construction. They definitely cut corners when it comes to lighting fixtures which we had to replace, but other than that, we have had zero problems with it. Great home!
