got a question for all the ol school san antonians.
Remember the TOWNFREAKS? that weird group of homeless runaways in the 70s and 80s that had a pechulant for stealing cars than dying in car wreaks? what ever happend to all those psychos?

Didn't they used to live in the Victoria Courts during the 80's? Mohawks, dog collars, and stabbing people for a nickle. Real rowdy from what I remember hearing.

Oh wow, I remember some of those guys. They drifted around and stayed at people's cribs until they wore out their welcome. They were always showing up at parties. Drinking all the beer....

Don't worry. They are still around. They now work the registers at the Exxon gas stations around town. I have also seen a few selling NIOSA beer tickets and stocking shelves late night at HEB. Kinda like an early fight club.

yeah a majority did, there were also alot from the Memorial high school and Lanier area

your not gonna believe this,

but since i posted this, i was going back and doing some research (old haunts and contacts) and a friend of a friend mine put my on to a girl from back in the day (39) that says there is a small gathering of them from time to time! i met her and she she had the 3 points tatto and everything.

according to her there the ones that are alive are still thieves..including herself.
