I looks like property taxes and car insurance is cheaper out there but it also looks like the same type of house costs more out there. Seems like Guadelupe is a little farther away from most major employment but seems a little nicer place to live?
Any perspective on this? Does the cost of living in guadelupe and bexar even out? Is guadelupe better as far as police, fire etc.. Is Guadelupe growing to fast?

You'll find all the counties surrounding Bexar County have cheaper property taxes and car insurance due to San Antonio. Also, moving out of the big city carries a premium, at least by the sellers of said properties.
