HEB limitations are now in place.

The following limitations are in place across all H-E-B stores (per transaction is what I understand it to be). What is to stop people from shopping at multiple locations though.

Disinfecting spray and wipes — 4 units
Hand sanitizer and soap — 4 units
Water — 4 multipacks and 4 gallons per transaction including baby
Latex gloves — 4 boxes/units
Bleach — 2 units
Rubbing alcohol — 4 units
Bath tissue — 2 packages

Besides likely cooler weather, I noticed the November dates will occur after Daylight Savings Time ends, so it will be pretty much dark by about 6 PM, as opposed to about 8:30 in April. Could have an effect on some events like NIOSA, for example, for those attendees who liked to go when it is still daylight.

I was told by my friend who went shopping this morning that Alon HEB had checkout lines all the way to the back of the store (up to where the cheese is sold) as of 7:30 AM. They were out of most cuts of beef, chicken and also potatoes I was also told.

I can't wait for this to all pass.

I flew into town Thursday and stopped by my neighborhood H-E-B for a few essentials. I was astonished to find the parking lot full and non locals with three and four shopping carts full of toilet paper and water.

Folks, the pandemic is short-lived. By mid April, the worst will be over and by mid May, an asterisk.

San Antonio has one case and that is travel related. Anyone know anyone ANYWHERE affected?

How about the Swine Flu 2009, anyone catch it or know anyone who did?

And the ignorant folks of SA continue to act..well....ignorant.

H-E-B is shortening hours after customers empty shelves in coronavirus panic

All H-E-B stores, Central Market and H-E-B Pharmacies are included in the closure. The shortened hours will be in place until further notice.

“While we restock our shelves around the clock, much of our restocking and replenishment happens overnight when our stores are closed,” H-E-B said in a statement.

“This temporary change in store hours will give our partners extra time to work diligently overnight to better stock our shelves, allowing us to better serve our customers.”
