My mother is visiting for Mother's Day weekend and I am trying to find a nice place to take her for brunch that Sunday. I live on the northeast side of town so something within a reasonable drive or up in New Braunfels. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks!

How about the Gristmill overlooking the river if the weather is nice...

We go to the Gunther house as our Mother's Day tradition...but they do NOT take reservations and you have to be there early or wait for sure!

Two years ago, my son and I went to the Hyatt for their champagne brunch. Very nice. They had three "seatings" so while they didn't really take specific reservations, there was not a huge "first come first serve" atmosphere. There was TONS of food and it was all very fresh and very good, you couldn't tell there were hundreds of people in there.
