Trans-Texas Corridor: TTC Projects

Check this out, and click on San Antonio SE Loop
it shows you the schematic of the Trans Texas Corridor 35 in San Antonio
and it mostly follows 1604 but not completely- in some places it's on top of 1604, in some places it crosses 1604, and then in some places it parallels 1604
If anyone can clear things up, where does 1604 come into play here? Will parts of 1604 (the entire SE part) be replaced by TTC-35? If so, will the left over parts that weren't incorporated in to TTC-35 be trunticated??? Will there be some kind of 1604/TTC-35 interchange??

TTC-35 and 1604 are NOT interconnected. Plans call for TTC-35 to run parallel to 35 until shortly before Von Ormy at which point it will break East and follow around the side of Bexar county up towards Sequin. The super-freeway is years away from beginning should it happen at all. Plans haven't yet been made for turning 1604 on the Southside into a highway. SH-130 on the other hand is actually part of the future TTC-35.

Also the map only shows a smaller area within which the corridor will be built. Environmental studies are still in the works and no definite path is yet set.

I agree. No plans have been made yet. Could TTC-35 conceivably replace 1604 in those areas? Sure, provided there's a toll-free alternative included. But I have heard absolutely nothing to that effect yet.

But the site says that they're planning to start construction on that segment sometime between 2010-2015, and this would actually be and extention of SH-130: 130 will connect with I10 just east of Seguin, then run concurrent west for a few miles, and then break off again into this "San Antonio SE Loop" section
