They are everywhere and aggressive with speeders.

Agree wholeheartedly.

People complain about the AHPD, but they do their job well.

Property taxes are very high here in Alamo Heights, but I've always felt like we get what we pay for.

Some of those could be in NEISD or even SAISD.

Best to verify the correct school district by doing a property search and entering the address on the Bexar Appraisal District website (BCAD.org). That will list the school district that the property is located in. It will also show property taxes assessed for the last year (watch out for exemptions the current owner qualifies for that you may not). Then check the school district website for campus attendance boundaries.
There are houses in terrell hills on zillow that don't show up as being AHISD. I can link some if you want. Not sure what y'all are talking about...

Castle Hills is your best bet for affordable if you want to live in one of those cities within the city.

Correct. TH is all in 78209, but the easternmost portion of City of TH is in NEISD, while the rest is AHISD.

Again, if school district is an important consideration (especially given the variation in the 78209 Zip Code), it's important to verify boundaries as I previously posted.

We moved from the northeast to SA a couple of years ago. We wanted to be in a safe neighborhood and excellent school system. We ended up buying in zip code 78258. If I had it to do over again, I wished we had bought in zip code 78259 because it's more spread out.
