So strange. Don't people have food for 2-3 days in their monster refrigerators and pantries?

I went for the Valentine’s Day candy. My dad went to the HEB on De Zavala around 11 today and said it was a madhouse.

Is anyone getting any snow west of 281 near 1604? Watching my news up here they showed radar with some snow north of 1604 and west of 281. It also looked like y'all may get some wetter weather headed in from the Del Rio area.

No accumulation here yet. That should start around 8-9 pm. So far just a small sheet of ice covering everything. This report is brought to you from my front porch in Helotes
I-10 from 1604 going west is closed. Going to be a booger later tonight.

5 degrees and snowing here in the Hill Country, with strong winds. Everything has been encased in ice since Thursday’s ice storm and tree branches have been coming down all day. Some neighborhoods have lost power and have been told it will be restored by tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.

We received two code red severe weather warnings today, plus an advisory that roads are closed and driving conditions are extremely hazardous so people should stay home. And a notice from the power company to lower thermostats to 68 or less, don’t run dryers, and unplug all unnecessary appliances. We’ve lived here for quite a while and have never seen anything like it.

Power outage... 1:45AM - 1:58AM
At least it was a short one. Just long enough to stop most clock's.

Well, it's on and off, on and off several times now.
(I guess, it's time to go to bed.)
Still snowing hard, and quite beautiful outside.
I just measured 2 1/4" snow by now.

Outage map:

On rotating outages since 1:45AM.
