Perfectly legal.

I already gave this advice to some business owner that was mad/scared about the state eliminating the mask mandate. I told him to simply post that his business required a mask and to trespass anyone that didn't comply.

Gets the gov't out of the mask business, upholds personal freedom and responsibility, and protects him if he wants masks in his store. End of story.

I cannot understand why more people do not understand this.

I think the problem is that many businesses are afraid of having to deal with all of the "Karen" types who refuse to wear a mask and will cause a big uproar. HEB had a lot of these type of cases which lead them to be vague in wording their response to Abbott's news.

I wish we had never gotten into masks personally but I am not going to be a "karen" and gripe about it. I will still wear it if I want to shop because I respect the business owner's rules.

Thank you. I do have a question for you....if a store does not require a mask, would you still wear one?

I like how the middle aged white women (Karen's) get all the blame.

We went to bar over the weekend on Main Street and we were the only white people AND the only ones wearing a mask so we left. Unfortunately, there is a vast swath of people who do not want nor care about wearing masks.

In 2018's flu season 3,446 people under 49 died and through out the pandemic 11,421 people under 44 have died according to the CDC. So this is not the flu, but this is not the deadly pandemic for 80% of the population the media is claiming.

I think if the media would be honest then people would take their advice.

Oh well, I will wear my mask until I feel like I can take it off as a 32 year old.

You weren't addressing me, but I will answer. It depends. If the store requires a mask, I will probably wear one and not cause a scene.

I have already been fully vaccinated, so if they didn't require one, and I felt safe in there, then I might not wear one. As long as distance could be generally maintained and people weren't crammed in there. It will be a case by case basis for me.

That is a tough question to answer at this point. I am not sure. Out of respect for others, I will probably continue to wear it. I still hate them though.

I did stop wearing them in parking lots while walking in/out of stores which I used to do before. That is the only thing that changed for me at this point.

"Karens" come in all shapes, sizes and colors to me, and of course there are male versions just as well.

I won't be wearing a mask (where it's not required). I've already been hospitalized with Covid and fully vaccinated.

You know that you can still get it, right?
