People still have to stop and trash a gas station bathroom, get sodas and snacks. If anything I bet Buc-ee's will adapt better than the average gas station and even offer fast charging electric stations...they have the space already.

Why would a change to electric vehicles affect them at all? Trust me, I could care less about Buc-Ee's, but I'm just not seeing how these things would affect Buc-Ee's?

Change in electric vehicles? Add Electric charging stations. Some locations have already done this.

Increase in fuel prices? Buc-Ee's is still cheaper gas than most places, soo?

Every time I've stopped at a Flying J with Tesla Superstations, the gas pumps are always full but the charging stations are always empty. I don't think people want to wait around 30-45 mins at a convenience store to charge an EV, but.... if I am am having to do that at a convenience store along the freeway, Bucees would certainly be my top choice. They'll just need to add waiting areas and places to sit, something that Bucees currently doesn't have. It seems like currently, Bucees purposely doesn't have areas to sit and that model will need to change.

Oh no... people will have to Wait 30 minutes at Buc-Ee’s? You mean like they already do!?

It is all dependent on the construction schedule for I-10. They are waiting for the interchange at 87/South Main to complete construction before they break ground customers will be able to access the store from I-10 in either direction.

I had heard a rumor that the merchants of Boerne were protesting its construction!

I don't know why but they don't allow overnight camping in their lot either. One of those popular van life couples that post on youtube attempted to do this only to be told that they have their lot policed overnight to prevent this.

Seems odd since they have so much room but I am sure there is a good reason for it.
