Has anyone else eaten there? We went there yesterday for the fajita lunch buffet and it was amazing. There was beef and chicken with rice, beans, and all the fixins. There was a salad bar, salsa bar, lemonade, deserts and incredible service. The restaurant itself is fantastic. You can sit indoors or out on the patio by the riverwalk. Oh yeah it was only $15. The buffet is everyday but on weekends you need to call ahead because they only have it if there is a large convention in town. They do have a breakfast buffet every weekend until 10:30 am. Also, if you valet they will stamp your ticket for 2 hours of free parking. My friends and I our making this a Sunday must from here on out.

Default Try the fish tacos

Next time try the fish tacos. I believe they are only available in the outdoor dining area. They are wonderful.

There are no fish tacos on the menu. I do know that the chef will make anything you ask for even if it is not on the menu. Maybe someone asked for them specifly. The buffet is everyday, convention or not, both breakfast and lunch.
It's a great restaurant and great service. The decor is great, it's more South American than Mexican...a nice change.

Hmmm, I was there not long after they opened on a Sunday afternoon and was disappointed. Service was lousy - I had to go in to the hostess twice to ask for a server to come to our table (took about 30-40 minutes before someone finally came). The drinks took forever. When my mojito finally arrived, the server apologized for the wait and said they had to go get some 'fresh' mint. The mint was totally wilted and black.

The server was very nice and polite and seemingly helpful, I'm not sure how much was his fault or just lack of coordination amongst the staff.

We ended up not ordering food afterall because we had already waited so long, we didn't plan to be there another couple of hours. I was bummed though - it's a lovely location and the setting is wonderful. I hope they've improved since then.

Remember it was just opening when you were there. It's been open a while and they have thier act together. The managers did not expect the restaurant to get the crowds that appeared when it opened.
The next few weeks, there will be alot of conventions in town and the staff is ready for the onslaught. Give it another chance. You will be pleasnatly surprised.

I hope so but we'll wait awhile. It had been open a few weeks when I was there, and wasn't at all crowded.

We have other favourites, but the setting there is nice.
