Hello!

I will be moving to S.A. in early August and I will need an apartment.

What are some good neighborhoods or developments that I may be able to live in that are close to the city center?
(Budget around $1000/month for 3-4 bedrooms)

I do need to be close to a bus stop to get around town and to work.

Thank you very much.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

It might be hard to get something that size right downtown, even slightly close. Start looking in these neighborhoods: Alta Vista, Monte Vista, Olmos Park, Woodlawn and Monticello Mark (try searching for Jefferson area...I think that zip is 78201). You may also check King William, Southtown, Tobin HIll and mahncke Park as well. But I feel like that budget is a bit tight. A bit further outside of the city may get you the space, transportation may be an issue the further out you go but it would be possible. We are a commuter city so the public transit isn't the best.

Good luck.
